Overview

This pump comes with either a metal plate or plastic base dependent on stock, both are exactly the same, the pump head can be simply rotated by moving a screw to your desired position.

Please note: This pump model can exist under different branded names and you may receive a pump with a different branded label.
Laing/Xylem is the Factory name. Some pumps are/were produced under different brand names such as Goulds, Lowara and ITT. The pump you receive will still be manufactured to the same specifications.

The little red bodied Laing Circulation Pump is extremely common in the UK, believe it or not even with its popularity it has now been discontinued.

Your old pump will typically have had been 1/20hp and 88watt with 3/4″ OD barb fittings. Typical Model Numbers: SM-959-NHW-14 thru SM-959-NHW-26. (Note that older models of this circulation pump may also have a motor capacitor mounted on the outside of it).

The new black pump above is known as the E10 – it is the direct replacement from the manufacturer.
